अथापराह्ण-सेवा सङ्गम्य तु सखीन् कृष्णो गृहीत्वा गाः समन्ततः
आगच्छति व्रजं कर्षन् तन् मुरली-रवैः
ततो नन्दादयः सर्वे श्रुत्वा वेणु-रवं हरेः
गो-धूलि-पटलैर् व्याप्तं दृश्ट्वा चापि नभ-स्थलम्
विसृज्य सर्व-कर्माणि स्त्रियो बालादयो ऽपि च
कृष्णस्याभिमुखं यान्ति तद्-दर्शन-समुत्सुकाः

āgacchati vrajaṃ karṣan tan muralī-ravaiḥ
tato nandādayaḥ sarve śrutvā veṇu-ravaṃ hareḥ
go-dhūli-paṭalair vyāptaṃ dṛśṭvā cāpi nabha-sthalam
visṛjya sarva-karmāṇi striyo bālādayo 'pi ca
kṛṣṇasyābhimukhaṃ yānti tad-darśana-samutsukāḥ

English translation of verse:

Pastimes in the Afternoon Meeting with His gopa friends, taking the cows with Him, and attracting everyone with the music of His flute, Lord Kṛṣṇa returned to Vraja Village. (264-265) Hearing the sound of Kṛṣṇa's flute and seeing the sky filled with the dust raised by the cows, King Nanda and all the men, women, and children of Vraja stopped all they were doing and ran to see Kṛṣṇa.
