The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

आकाशमात्रमेवेदं जगदित्येकनिश्चयः ।
दृश्यनाम्नि नभस्यस्मिन्क्षये जागर्मि चाक्षयः ॥ २० ॥

ākāśamātramevedaṃ jagadityekaniścayaḥ |
dṛśyanāmni nabhasyasminkṣaye jāgarmi cākṣayaḥ || 20 ||

This world I ween, is certainly a vacuum; and it is by my belief in the nihility of the phenomenal, that I am awaked to my immortality.
