The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.185.7

ततोऽहं दुःखितो भूयः कदम्बतरुतापसम् ।
गतो दुःखोपघाताय तज्ज्ञानं प्रष्टुमादृतः ॥ ७ ॥

tato'haṃ duḥkhito bhūyaḥ kadambatarutāpasam |
gato duḥkhopaghātāya tajjñānaṃ praṣṭumādṛtaḥ || 7 ||

I then repaired in the sorrow of my heart, to the devotee under the Kadamba tree; in order to derive the benefit of his advice, to dissipate my dolor.
