The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.177.22

स्वप्नपृथ्व्याद्यनुभवे किमबुद्धस्य कारणम् ।
चित्स्वभावादृते ब्रूहि स्वप्नार्थो नाम कीदृशः ॥ २२ ॥

svapnapṛthvyādyanubhave kimabuddhasya kāraṇam |
citsvabhāvādṛte brūhi svapnārtho nāma kīdṛśaḥ || 22 ||

Say what cause can the ignorant assign, to their sight of the land in their dream, than to the nature of the Intellect, which exhibits such phenomena to minds. Say if there can be any other meaning of dreams.
