The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

आरुषेयमिदमिति प्रमादाच्चेन्न रोचते ।
तदन्यदात्मविज्ञानशास्त्रं किंचिद्विचारयेत् ॥ ७६ ॥

āruṣeyamidamiti pramādāccenna rocate |
tadanyadātmavijñānaśāstraṃ kiṃcidvicārayet || 76 ||

Should this sastra prove unpalatable, owing to its being the composition of a holy sage; in that case the student may consult the sacred srutis, for the perfection of his spiritual knowledge.
