सुषुप्ताद्विशतः स्वप्नं सुषुप्तस्थैव चिद्यथा ।
यथा स्थितैव स्वप्नत्वमेत्येवं सर्गतामिमाम् ॥ ४२ ॥

suṣuptādviśataḥ svapnaṃ suṣuptasthaiva cidyathā |
yathā sthitaiva svapnatvametyevaṃ sargatāmimām || 42 ||

As the intellect passes from its rest of sleep, to the sights in its dream; so it passes from the state of pralaya or the void of universal desolation to the commotion of creation.
