The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.171.12

अतो ज्ञातमनाभातमेव दृश्यं जगत्त्रयम् ।
ब्रह्मैवेदं परं भाति स्वात्मनीत्थमवस्थितम् ॥ १२ ॥

ato jñātamanābhātameva dṛśyaṃ jagattrayam |
brahmaivedaṃ paraṃ bhāti svātmanītthamavasthitam || 12 ||

Hence the three worlds that appear so visibly to our view, are quite unintelligible and unexposed to our sight in their very nature; it is the Supreme Deity itself, that appears in this manner of its subsistence in its own vacuous substance.
