The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अपूर्वैव घना निद्रा कापि सा तत्त्वदर्शिनाम् ।
या न शाम्यति कल्पाभ्ररवैर्नाङ्गविकर्तनैः ॥ २७ ॥

apūrvaiva ghanā nidrā kāpi sā tattvadarśinām |
yā na śāmyati kalpābhraravairnāṅgavikartanaiḥ || 27 ||

How very sound and profound, is the trance or reverie of the philosophic mind, that it is not disturbed, even at the crackling of thunders or cracking of volcanoes.
