The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अपूर्वैव घना निद्रा कापि सा तत्त्वदर्शिनाम् ।
प्रबुद्धानामपि हि या निमीलयति दृग्दृशौ ॥ २८ ॥

apūrvaiva ghanā nidrā kāpi sā tattvadarśinām |
prabuddhānāmapi hi yā nimīlayati dṛgdṛśau || 28 ||

How exquisite is the ecstasy of the right discerner of truth, who sees all within himself, which the external observer with his open eyes, finds as lying afar without himself.
