The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तप्तसैकतसंभारपातपातालमज्जनम् ।
दीपच्छन्नानलभयं बृहद्वायसचर्वणम् ॥ ५० ॥

taptasaikatasaṃbhārapātapātālamajjanam |
dīpacchannānalabhayaṃ bṛhadvāyasacarvaṇam || 50 ||

There the hot and burning sands, buried the passengers under the ground; and there burning meteors were falling like torches; while large ravens were devouring the dead bodies around.
