The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.158.19

तदैवैतन्महामेदो मृद्धातुत्वमुपागतम् ।
कालेन वसुधा भूयो भूत्वा मृन्मयतां गता ॥ १९ ॥

tadaivaitanmahāmedo mṛddhātutvamupāgatam |
kālena vasudhā bhūyo bhūtvā mṛnmayatāṃ gatā || 19 ||

It was this huge fleshy body, which was reduced to the substance of the earth in time; and had the name of the earth given to it from the dust of this body.
