The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अथ रात्र्यां व्यतीतायां स प्रभाते महामुनिः ।
तथा संपूजितो येन तत्रैव रतिमाप्तवान् ॥ ८ ॥

atha rātryāṃ vyatītāyāṃ sa prabhāte mahāmuniḥ |
tathā saṃpūjito yena tatraiva ratimāptavān || 8 ||

Thus we passed the night in mutual conversation, and after we got up in the morning, I honoured the sage with due respect, and he was pleased with me.
