The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.151.3

स शशाम शनैर्वह्निर्निःशेषीकृतकाननः ।
परिपीतार्णवोऽगस्त्य इवास्तं समुपाययौ ॥ ३ ॥

sa śaśāma śanairvahnirniḥśeṣīkṛtakānanaḥ |
paripītārṇavo'gastya ivāstaṃ samupāyayau || 3 ||

Then the fire set after satiating itself with devouring the whole forest, as the sea sat below in its basin, after its waters were sucked up by the sage Agastya.
