The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

ततो बभूव सा रक्तपरिपीनशरीरिणी ।
रक्ता वर्षाभ्रमालेव तडित्तरललोचना ॥ १८ ॥

tato babhūva sā raktaparipīnaśarīriṇī |
raktā varṣābhramāleva taḍittaralalocanā || 18 ||

Being thus filled and fattened, by full draughts of the sanguineous beverage; she had the appearance of a blood red cloud, with flashing lightenings shooting from her eyes.
