The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

रुदतो हसतश्चैव जीवन्मुक्तमतेरिह ।
न दुःखं न सुखं किंचिदन्तर्भवति तत्स्थितम् ॥ ३७ ॥
rudato hasataścaiva jīvanmuktamateriha |
na duḥkhaṃ na sukhaṃ kiṃcidantarbhavati tatsthitam || 37 ||
Whether laughing or crying, the liberated soul feels no pleasure or pain therein; because it is situated in both states in the unalterable spirit of God.
