The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

मन्दारमञ्जरीपुञ्जपिञ्जराम्भोदमन्दिरे ।
महेन्द्रमस्तके मत्ताः सुप्ता गन्धर्वकामिनः ॥ १६ ॥

mandāramañjarīpuñjapiñjarāmbhodamandire |
mahendramastake mattāḥ suptā gandharvakāminaḥ || 16 ||

Lo the golden mandara flowers, touching the amber-coloured clouds of heaven; appearing as the giddy Gandharva lads, lying on the top of the Mahendra mountain.
