The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अपरिज्ञातदेहात्तु धत्ते मोहाभिधां स्वयम् ।
परिज्ञातस्वरूपात्तु धत्ते मोक्षाभिधां स्वयम् ॥ ३९ ॥

aparijñātadehāttu dhatte mohābhidhāṃ svayam |
parijñātasvarūpāttu dhatte mokṣābhidhāṃ svayam || 39 ||

By the knowledge of its embodiment, it is liable to delusions; but by knowledge of its true nature, it becomes acquainted with its own freedom.
