The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

चिन्मात्रममरं नाहं यन्नश्यामीति रोदिति ।
अनष्ट एव तद्देहो जातापूर्वा खरोलिका ॥ ३१ ॥

cinmātramamaraṃ nāhaṃ yannaśyāmīti roditi |
anaṣṭa eva taddeho jātāpūrvā kharolikā || 31 ||

That I am the imperishable intellect itself, and naught that is of a perishable nature; therefore the wailing of a man and his friends at the point of death, appears as a ridiculous farce to the wise.
