The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

गतं प्रकटतोत्कर्षादाधिभौतिकदेहताम् ।
तेनैव सर्ग इत्युक्तो भेदसंततिभासुरः ॥ ५३ ॥

gataṃ prakaṭatotkarṣādādhibhautikadehatām |
tenaiva sarga ityukto bhedasaṃtatibhāsuraḥ || 53 ||

The ideal then being perfected grew compact, and took a tangible form; which was afterwards called the world, with all the many varieties of which it is composed.
