The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

शब्दरूपरसस्पर्शगन्धमात्रादृते परम् ।
नेह किंचन नामास्ति किमेतावत्यहं रमे ॥ ३७ ॥

śabdarūparasasparśagandhamātrādṛte param |
neha kiṃcana nāmāsti kimetāvatyahaṃ rame || 37 ||

I see there is no real pleasure here, but what is derived from our sensations of the sensible objects (of figure, sound, taste, touch and smell); I find no lasting delight in these, that I should depend on them.
