The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

शनैरुन्मीलयामास नयने नयकोविदः ।
मधुः शिशिरसंशान्ताववनौ कुसुमे यथा ॥ १४ ॥

śanairunmīlayāmāsa nayane nayakovidaḥ |
madhuḥ śiśirasaṃśāntāvavanau kusume yathā || 14 ||

The courteous sage opened his eyes slowly, as flowers open their petals in the vernal season after the autumn is over.
