The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.54.32

यथा स्पन्दोऽनिले तोये द्रवत्वं व्योम्नि शून्यता ।
तथा जगदिदं भातमनन्याश्लेषमात्मनि ॥ ३२ ॥

yathā spando'nile toye dravatvaṃ vyomni śūnyatā |
tathā jagadidaṃ bhātamananyāśleṣamātmani || 32 ||

As fluctuation is innate in the air, and fluidity is inherent in water, and vacuity is essential to vacuum; so is this world intrinsic in the divine soul, without anything concomitant with it.
