श्रुतपाठजपान्तेषु समाधिनिरतो भवेत् ।
समाधिविरतः श्रान्तः श्रुतपाठजपाञ्छ्रयेत् ॥ २३ ॥

śrutapāṭhajapānteṣu samādhinirato bhavet |
samādhivirataḥ śrāntaḥ śrutapāṭhajapāñchrayet || 23 ||

Let men resort to their reflection, after their hearing of a lecture, reciting the scripture, and muttering the mantras and uttering their prayers; and when tired with meditation, let them return to their lectures and recitals.
