The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.46.15

सर्वार्थशीतलत्वेन बलाद्ध्याने यदाऽऽगतम् ।
ज्ञानाद्विषयवैरस्य स समाधिर्हि नेतरः ॥ १५ ॥

sarvārthaśītalatvena balāddhyāne yadā''gatam |
jñānādviṣayavairasya sa samādhirhi netaraḥ || 15 ||

When the mind is immerged in deep meditation, by its cool apathy to all sensible objects, and feels an utter indifference to all worldly affairs, it is then said to be in its samadhi and no other.
