The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.43.48

स्थितं बोधमनाद्यन्तं स्वभावं सर्गगं विदुः ।
मनः शब्दार्थरहितं विभागान्तविवर्जितम् ॥ ४८ ॥

sthitaṃ bodhamanādyantaṃ svabhāvaṃ sargagaṃ viduḥ |
manaḥ śabdārtharahitaṃ vibhāgāntavivarjitam || 48 ||

The understanding is ever existent, and without having its beginning and end; and nature is known to exist ever since creation has began. The word mind is meaningless and is undivided and unbounded in its nature.
