The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.30.9

अहंत्वसर्गरूपेण संवित्संविन्मये परे ।
स्फुरत्यम्भोम्भसीवातो नानातेयं किमात्मिका ॥ ९ ॥

ahaṃtvasargarūpeṇa saṃvitsaṃvinmaye pare |
sphuratyambhombhasīvāto nānāteyaṃ kimātmikā || 9 ||

The ego rises of itself as an uncreated thing, and in the form of consciousness in the all comprehensive intellect of God, just as the waves rise and fall in the waters of the deep, and have no difference in their nature.
