The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

एतावन्तमहं कालं सुप्त आसं जडात्मकः ।
इदानीं संप्रबुद्धोऽस्मि प्रसादादात्मनो मुने ॥ २ ॥

etāvantamahaṃ kālaṃ supta āsaṃ jaḍātmakaḥ |
idānīṃ saṃprabuddho'smi prasādādātmano mune || 2 ||

I had been so long sleeping as an inert soul, and now I am awakened to sense by the grace of the Supreme Soul.
