The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.103.34

शिखिध्वजस्य देहोऽसौ निश्चित्तस्तेजसोर्जितः ।
सत्त्वांशेन च संयुक्तस्तेन न ग्लानिभाजनम् ॥ ३४ ॥

śikhidhvajasya deho'sau niścittastejasorjitaḥ |
sattvāṃśena ca saṃyuktastena na glānibhājanam || 34 ||

The body of Sikhidvaja was felt to be hot, though it was without its active mind; it was therefore known to be possessed of its vitality, which prevented it from wasting and rotting away.
