The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

गृह्णन्ति न महात्मानः प्राज्ञा जलरवीनिव ।
स्वर्गमोक्षादिफलदं यत्किंचित्सर्वमेव तत् ॥ ४७ ॥

gṛhṇanti na mahātmānaḥ prājñā jalaravīniva |
svargamokṣādiphaladaṃ yatkiṃcitsarvameva tat || 47 ||

As no wise man runs to grasp the sun, in his reflection in the water;so should you never pursue after the pleasures of heaven or felicity of liberation, after thou hast found him in thy own spirit.
