The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.96.30

अकर्तृकर्मकरणं सत्यं चिद्धनमक्षतम् ।
आत्मरूपमनाभासं स्वयंवेदनमक्षतम् ॥ ३० ॥

akartṛkarmakaraṇaṃ satyaṃ ciddhanamakṣatam |
ātmarūpamanābhāsaṃ svayaṃvedanamakṣatam || 30 ||

The exhaustless mass of divine intellect, is indeed no cause or casual instrument or effect of any thing; because the product of the divine soul, must be some thing of the form of the invisible soul, which is its everlasting consciousness or intelligence.
