The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अपश्यत्पतिनिर्हीना शयनं शून्यता गतम् ।
अभास्करमपूर्णेन्दु शान्तशोभमिवाम्बरम् ॥ ३ ॥

apaśyatpatinirhīnā śayanaṃ śūnyatā gatam |
abhāskaramapūrṇendu śāntaśobhamivāmbaram || 3 ||

She found the bed vacated by her husband and thought it as dreary as the sky, without the sun and moon.
