The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

भगीरथः क्षणेनैव प्रावृषीवाम्बुना सरः ।
वलितः सेनया गुर्व्या झटित्याशिश्रिये गजम् ॥ ४ ॥

bhagīrathaḥ kṣaṇenaiva prāvṛṣīvāmbunā saraḥ |
valitaḥ senayā gurvyā jhaṭityāśiśriye gajam || 4 ||

Bhagiratha instantly mounted on an elephant, and was led by a large body of troops, who assembled about him as thickly, as the drops of rain water fall into and fill a lake.
