The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.39.47

आपातरमणीयं यद्यच्चापातसुदुःसहम् ।
तत्सर्वं सुसमं बुद्ध्वा नित्यात्मार्चाव्रतं चरेत् ॥ ४७ ॥

āpātaramaṇīyaṃ yadyaccāpātasuduḥsaham |
tatsarvaṃ susamaṃ buddhvā nityātmārcāvrataṃ caret || 47 ||

Things which appear as pleasant or unpleasant at first sight, are all to be taken in an equal light, by those that are firm in their vow of the adoration of the one universal soul.
