The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

इति पश्यन्महाबाहो भावाभावभवक्रमम् ।
हर्षामर्षविषादेहाः संत्यज्य समतां व्रज ॥ ४१ ॥

iti paśyanmahābāho bhāvābhāvabhavakramam |
harṣāmarṣaviṣādehāḥ saṃtyajya samatāṃ vraja || 41 ||

Seeing these changes in the state of things, you must give up, O mighty armed Rama! your joy and grief on any occasion, and preserve the equanimity of your mind at all times.
