The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

विनाशिनि विनष्टेऽस्मिन्देहे स्वां स्थितिमागते ।
विनश्यामीति यः खेदी तं धिगस्त्वन्धचेतसम् ॥ ३ ॥

vināśini vinaṣṭe'smindehe svāṃ sthitimāgate |
vinaśyāmīti yaḥ khedī taṃ dhigastvandhacetasam || 3 ||

Whoever having a body, thinks that he will perish with his perishable frame, and is sorry for it; is verily blinded in his mind, and is to be pitied for his mental blindness.
