The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

गान्धर्वी नगरी तन्वी सुखदुःखादिभावना ।
स्फुरति त्वत्प्रसादेन त्वयि दृष्टे विलीयते ॥ ७० ॥

gāndharvī nagarī tanvī sukhaduḥkhādibhāvanā |
sphurati tvatprasādena tvayi dṛṣṭe vilīyate || 70 ||

The thoughts of pleasure and pain, are as the short-lived fancies of the fairy land or castles in air; they appear by turns at thy pleasure, but they disappear altogether no sooner thy form is seen in the mind.
