The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

एकोऽसावनुभूत्यात्मा स्वानुभूतिवशात्स्वयम् ।
सर्वदृग्द्रष्टृदृश्यत्वात्सहस्रकरलोचनः ॥ ४१ ॥

eko'sāvanubhūtyātmā svānubhūtivaśātsvayam |
sarvadṛgdraṣṭṛdṛśyatvātsahasrakaralocanaḥ || 41 ||

It is one intelligent soul, which by its own intelligence, is the eye and witness of all visible things; and is represented as having a thousand eyes and hands and as many feet.
