The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.31.24

शौरिशौर्याग्रशिखरसंश्रयेणाश्रितश्रियः ।
अस्मान्समुपरुन्धन्ति शुनः शाखामृगा इव ॥ २४ ॥

śauriśauryāgraśikharasaṃśrayeṇāśritaśriyaḥ |
asmānsamuparundhanti śunaḥ śākhāmṛgā iva || 24 ||

The gods protected by the power of Sauri (Hari), are raised to the pinnacle of prosperity, have been mocking and restraining us in these caves, as the apes on trees do the dogs below.
