The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.21.20

न तथा भाति पूर्णेन्दुर्न पूर्णः क्षीरसागरः ।
न लक्ष्मीवदनं कान्तं स्पृहाहीनं यथा मनः ॥ २० ॥

na tathā bhāti pūrṇendurna pūrṇaḥ kṣīrasāgaraḥ |
na lakṣmīvadanaṃ kāntaṃ spṛhāhīnaṃ yathā manaḥ || 20 ||

The undesirous mind shines more brightly, than the disk of the full moon, and the bright countenance of the goddess of prosperity.
