The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.8.9

सिद्धा ऊचुः ।
द्रष्टृदृश्यसमायोगात्प्रत्ययानन्दनिश्चयः ।
यस्तं स्वमात्मतत्त्वोत्थं निःस्पन्दं समुपास्महे ॥ ९ ॥

siddhā ūcuḥ |
draṣṭṛdṛśyasamāyogātpratyayānandaniścayaḥ |
yastaṃ svamātmatattvotthaṃ niḥspandaṃ samupāsmahe || 9 ||

The siddhas sang said:—We adore that Being which is neither the subjective nor objective (not the viewer nor the view); and which in our beliefs is the positive felicity, that rises in our souls, and has no fluctuation in it.
