The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

सूर्यांशुकचदालोलतरङ्गोत्तुङ्गमौक्तिकाः ।
वहन्ति सरितो यत्र सन्मुक्तावलयश्चलाः ॥ १२ ॥

sūryāṃśukacadālolataraṅgottuṅgamauktikāḥ |
vahanti sarito yatra sanmuktāvalayaścalāḥ || 12 ||

Here the pearly rivers are flowing in their winding courses, and bearing their swelling waves and rippling billows, shining as chains of pearls under the sunbeams and moonlight.
