The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तत्रासौ व्योमलग्नायाः शाखायाः प्रान्तपल्लवे ।
विवेश विगताशङ्कमेकाग्रं तप आस्थितः ॥ ३ ॥

tatrāsau vyomalagnāyāḥ śākhāyāḥ prāntapallave |
viveśa vigatāśaṅkamekāgraṃ tapa āsthitaḥ || 3 ||

There sitting on a branch which reached to the sky, he was employed in his devotion, devoid of fear and desire.
