The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

कस्यांचिद्भूरभूत्सृष्टौ नीरन्ध्रतरुसंकटा ।
कस्यांचिन्नरनीरन्ध्रा कस्यांचिद्भूधरावृता ॥ ११ ॥

kasyāṃcidbhūrabhūtsṛṣṭau nīrandhratarusaṃkaṭā |
kasyāṃcinnaranīrandhrā kasyāṃcidbhūdharāvṛtā || 11 ||

In one age was born the solid earth, having no holes for the growth of vegetables, in another it was overgrown with verdure; it was again filled with mountains, and at last covered by living creatures.
