The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

भूरभून्मृन्मयी काचित्काचिदासीद्दृषन्मयी ।
आसीद्धेममयी काचित्काचित्ताम्रमयी तथा ॥ १२ ॥

bhūrabhūnmṛnmayī kācitkācidāsīddṛṣanmayī |
āsīddhemamayī kācitkācittāmramayī tathā || 12 ||

The earth was full of gold in some place, and it was hard ground at others; it was mere mud in many places, and incrusted with copper and other metals in some.
