The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

बभूवुर्भास्कराकारैः कल्पभूरुहधारिभिः ।
प्रहारदलिताद्रीन्द्रैर्दैत्यैर्निर्विवरा दिशः ॥ १२ ॥

babhūvurbhāskarākāraiḥ kalpabhūruhadhāribhiḥ |
prahāradalitādrīndrairdaityairnirvivarā diśaḥ || 12 ||

All sides were filled by the demons, who blazed like burning suns with their luminous bodies, and held the tall kalpa branches in their hands for striking the enemy therewith, and with which they broke down the tops and peaks of mountains.
