The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अथ सादरमुत्थाय शुक्रः शक्रेण पूजितः ।
गृहीतहस्त आनीय समीपमुपवेशितः ॥ २१ ॥

atha sādaramutthāya śukraḥ śakreṇa pūjitaḥ |
gṛhītahasta ānīya samīpamupaveśitaḥ || 21 ||

Indra received him with respect, and having lifted him up with his hand, made him sit by himself.
