The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.120.3

यत्र दृष्टं मया दुःखमरण्यानीं स्मरामि ताम् ।
चित्तादर्शगतां विन्ध्यात्कदाचिल्लभ्यते हि सा ॥ ३ ॥

yatra dṛṣṭaṃ mayā duḥkhamaraṇyānīṃ smarāmi tām |
cittādarśagatāṃ vindhyātkadācillabhyate hi sā || 3 ||

He said to himself: ah! when shall I revisit the Vindhyan region, which is inscribed in my mind; and where I remember to have undergone a great many hardships in my forester's life.
