The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

जाग्रत्स्वप्नश्चिरं रूढो जागृतावेव गच्छति ॥ २५ ॥

ekaikā śataśākhātra nānāvibhavarūpiṇī |
jāgratsvapnaściraṃ rūḍho jāgṛtāveva gacchati || 25 ||

I have thus told you Rama, the features of true knowledge and error in brief, but each of these states branches out into a hundred forms, with various traits of their own.
