The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

प्रशाम्यत्युल्लसत्येति याति नन्दति वल्गति ।
मनःशरीरसंकल्पे फलिते न शरीरकम् ॥ ६० ॥

praśāmyatyullasatyeti yāti nandati valgati |
manaḥśarīrasaṃkalpe phalite na śarīrakam || 60 ||

It is the mind that is satisfied and delighted at the fulfilment of our wishes, and not the body which is insensible of its enjoyments.
