The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

पुनर्दूरतरं गत्वा शशाङ्ककरशीतलम् ।
कदलीकाननं कान्तं संप्रविष्टो हसन्निव ॥ १४ ॥

punardūrataraṃ gatvā śaśāṅkakaraśītalam |
kadalīkānanaṃ kāntaṃ saṃpraviṣṭo hasanniva || 14 ||

Having then gone a great way off from that place, he got to a grove of plantain arbour under the cooling moonbeams, where he sat for a while with a smiling countenance.
